To whom it may concern:
Greetings from the Internet Bar Association!
The Internet Bar Association is an unincorporated voluntary professional
service association.
It is my goal for the Internet Bar Association to be THE International
Internet Lawyers Organization. That is why I have obtained the domain
name @LAWYERS.ORG (sm) and Internet address http://lawyers.org.
The Internet Bar Association will focus on utilizing emerging
technologies for its Members including streaming of audio and video for
global broadcast of Continuing Legal Education Programs on a secure
private intranet.
To be a Member of the Internet Bar Association one must be an Internet
Lawyer, i.e. a Lawyer recognized by some jurisdiction, with an Internet
account (email required).
Law students with Internet access are eligible to become Associate
Members through membership in the Law Student Division (LSD).
Members will be entitled to valuable benefits currently being negotiated
including group disability insurance and discounts on business equipment
and travel. Members will be polled to determine which benefits to offer.
If you are a Lawyer or Law Student your involvement in the development
of the Internet Bar Association is greatly encouraged.
Very truly yours,
INTERNET BAR ASSOCIATION (sm)
